We know from experience that Little Cottonwood Canyon is synonymous with an excellent time; we certainly can’t seem to get enough! In addition to cooking, Luke has been an Alf Engen Ski School Instructor for the past eight winters, and is proud to be a PSIA Certified Level III Instructor. Since moving here in January 2019 to be with Luke, Rachel has continued to fall in love with the Utah snow, and relishes the days when Luke chases her through the trees.
Folding Chair is here to ensure you have an excellent time off the slopes, as well. After all, the next best thing after a soul-satisfying powder day is coming home to a soul-satisfying meal (and perhaps a big plate of après nachos).

How does Folding Chair work?
Send us an email to let us know you’re interested in Folding Chair cooking for your group. A phone consultation will determine what kind of menu to create. We’ll do all the grocery shopping, then arrive at your home to prepare and serve a lovely meal. We finish the night leaving the kitchen looking better than we found it.
How many people can you two cook for?
We determine that number based on what your kitchen can accommodate and what style of service you’d prefer.
Can we make requests for the menu?
Absolutely! We would be so happy to work on a custom menu that works for everyone; in fact that is what keeps us passionate about cooking and serving.
Members of our party have special dietary needs. How can you accommodate?
We are very familiar with special dietary needs and are aware that people would like to stick with their lifestyles while on a ski trip. We can adjust the menu for any dietary needs.
We want delicious food ready to eat when we get home from skiing. Does Folding Chair do drop-off meal service?
Absolutely. We are always happy to drop off ready-to-eat meals in your fridge. All you have to do is warm it up and enjoy. Get in touch to let us know what you’re looking for.
I need someone to help shop for groceries. Is this a service Folding Chair provides?
Yes! We’ll shop at any grocery store you would like; there are options including Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, Smiths, Costco, State Liquor Store, and the Asian grocery store. We’ll deliver the groceries to your house.
